The Pumps Division of DSM Industries Trichy manufactures various Custom Domestic and Industrial Pumps and Deep Well Hand Pumps.

Deep Well Hand Pumps

    The Hand Pump. The most easy means of water, that has found its place both in the rural and urban areas of India. Gone are those days of the conventional hand pumps, which are more strenuous to work on and have a shorter life span.

DSM Industries Trichy manufactures two types of Deep Well Hand Pumps according to stringent Indian Standards Specifications.
 

  1. Deep Well Hand Pumps, (Popularly known as India Mark II Pumps)
  2. Village Level Operation and Maintenance Deep Well Hand Pumps (Popularly known as India Mark III Pumps)

DSM Industries Trichy continues to innovate in the area of Deep Well Hand Pumps, and the latest product of this innovation is the DSMIT® Mark IIIx EZ-PackTM Pumps created specially for providing value to our international customers by making the pump compact and easily packagable for export.

India Mark II Pumps

Manufactured to Indian Standards IS:9301:1990 specification, these pumps are extensively used to supply water to rural areas. UNICEF has approved this pump design for use in Asian and African nations and finances the purchase of these pumps.

Salient Features:

  • Manufactured to stringent Indian Standards specifications (IS:9301:1990)
  • Capable of drawing water from depths of 100 Meters (328 Feet)
  • Completely human powered, delivering 18 to 20 litres for 40 strokes.

India Mark III Pumps

These are also manufactured according to Indian Standards Specifications. These pumps are now being recommended for use because of the new and improved design based on the feedback from the India Mark II pump users.

Salient Features:

In addition to the above mentioned features, the Mark III offers the following important features:

  • New and improved design for ease of use.
  • Very easy handling, designed for use by the average villager with minimal skills.
  • Minimal maintenance required even under exposure to hostile weather conditions.
Both the above mentioned pumps are very rugged in design and manufactured with excellent quality materials and dip galvanized under stringent quality control.

DSMIT® Mark IIIx EZ-PackTM Pumps

These pumps are a direct result of feedback from international customers and the continuing innovation of DSM Industries Trichy in the area of hand pumps.

These pumps are based on the India Mark III pumps, but offer the following salient feature:

  • New and Improved removable stand assembly which makes the pumps much more compact to pack, reducing container usage, resulting in a significant cost advantage for bulk purchases.

   
 
 

Bacteria-free, clean drinking water

DSMIT is proud to announce a new accessory to the DSMIT hand pumps that allows the water to be filtered before delivery.

This filter can be attached to Mark II to get 100% bacteria free safe drinking water, by a safe and proven techology called ultrafiltration hollow fibre membrane process. This membrane system, while eliminating all impurities and micro-organisms, retains all essential salts which are necessary to maintain the electrolytes balances in our body.
