Introduction

The Health Care Furniture Division of DSMIT was started specifically to address the growing requirements for quality furniture in the health care industry.

At this point in time, the only manufactured items are the Hi-Lo ICU Stainless Steel Beds and spare parts for the Hi-Lo bed.

Other major products are in the pipeline and will be marketed shortly. But we do undertake custom orders of furniture to customer design requirements.

The DSMIT Hi-Lo ICU Beds

Made of excellent quality materials and under strict quality control, these beds offer the nurses and doctors very easy handling and control over the bed's features, while providing the patients with comfort.

Listed below are some of the very salient features of DSMIT Intensive Care Unit Stainless Steel Beds:

• Height of bed can be adjusted with ease, making it very convenient to transfer the patient from the bed to the trolley.
• Specially designed bevel gears with spring loaded balancer enables easy adjustment of heights.
• Major positions such as Trendelenberg and Reverse-Trendelenberg positions, amongst others, are achievable.
• Specially designed trapeziodal threaded screws are provided for easy adjustment of back and foot rests.
• Swivelling 125 mm castors(2 nos. without and 2 nos. with brakes) are provided for easy mobility and manuverablility.
• The entire top is made out of durable stainless steel material, in keeping with the hygiene requirements of hospitals.
• The foot/head panels are bows are totally detachable.
• Stainless Steel telescopic side rails are provided for patient safety.
• Stainless steel saline rod stands are collasible and detachable.
• All non stainless steel portions are painted by "epoxy powder coating" for unparalleled durability.
• Besides Trendelenberg and Reverse-Trendelenberg positions, others such as cardiac, vascular, reclinig, horizontal, contour, chair and Fowler positions are also achievable.
• The ERW steel tubular frame assures rigidity to the base of the bed.

Other optional features are available, such as:

• Provision for bedside lamp to enable better examination of the neck.
• Provision of special stand to enable asthma patients to relax in a lean forward position. This stand can also be used to keep the instruments necessary for emergency procedures.
• Matress
